Successfully lobbied with each city commissioner and Downtown Orlando stakeholders to use CRA money to help fund the remaining construction of the movie theater. Worked with the Mayor's office and the City’s staff and the new developer on media messaging to counteract negative press surrounding the previous owner. Executed Grand Opening for Plaza Cinema Café. Coordinated every aspect of the event: PR, advertising, governmental relations, permits, security, road closures, vendor negotiations and contracts, parking, inclement weather contingency plan, food/beverage, entertainment, furniture and equipment rentals, atmosphere, look and feel and collateral design. Continued to coordinate all events on the Plaza property such as the Orlando Film Festival, Jose Cuervo Games, Orlando Film Festival, Wine Down Wednesday, NBA Playoff Watch Parties, Forty Seven Clothing Pool Party, Orlando Design Institute Fashion Shows, car shows, LGBT Movie Premiere of Milk, Tea Party Rallies and more.
